Unleashing ‘Animal’ on Netflix: Thrills, and a Global Premiere that Will Leave You Breathless
The Netflix release date for the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer “Animal ” has been officially confirmed for This Republic Day on January 26 2024, as announced by the streaming platform on Thursday. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie features an ensemble cast including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri.
Despite its release in Theatres on December 1 2023, “Animal” emerged as one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2023, although it faced criticism for its controversial depiction of women, instances of misogyny, and graphic violence.
Expressing anticipation for the digital premiere on Netflix, Ranbir Kapoor stated, “We are absolutely overjoyed by the response ‘Animal’ received in theaters, and now I am glad that audiences worldwide will get a chance to watch it in the comfort of their homes. The opportunity to showcase our work globally is truly special.”
The film will be available in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, on Netflix. In a press release, the streaming service described “Animal” as an action drama delving into “the intricacies of modern-day relationships, focusing on the dynamics between a father and son,” portrayed by Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. The production is credited to Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Pranay Reddy Vanga.
